Móri Rewards Club
Valid from September 10, 2026.
1. About the club
Members of the Móri Rewards Club earn store credit as a percentage of their purchases. The store credit is registered on the customer account at Móri and can be used as payment, both in the online store and in our physical stores.
The club is operated by Lundhaven ehf., ID no. 531120-0510.
2. Membership
Membership is intended for individuals 18 years and older who have a customer account at Móri and have agreed to receive marketing emails from us. The agreement is the membership — there is no special application and no card.
You can join the club on a product page, during checkout, or by signing up for our mailing list.
You can leave the club at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email from us or by contacting verslun@mori.is. Cancellation stops further accumulation but has no effect on store credit you have already earned — it retains its validity until its expiration date.
3. Accumulation
Store credit generated from product purchases is determined by Móri at any given time, and may change without notice.
For store credit to be calculated, you need to be registered on the order when the purchase is made. If you join the rewards club within 14 days of a purchase, store credit will also be calculated for that order.
4. Products that do not earn store credit
Gift cards and shipping costs do not earn store credit. If a product is exchanged for another product, store credit is only calculated on the difference in product purchases that is payable.
5. Payment with store credit
If paid in full with store credit, no new store credit is accumulated from that purchase. If paid partially with store credit, store credit is accumulated on the portion of the purchase price paid with a payment method other than store credit.
6. When the store credit becomes usable
Store credit becomes usable 14 days after purchase in the online store due to the 14-day right of return in distance selling according to law no. 16/2016, and one day after purchase in a physical store.
You will receive an email when the store credit becomes usable.
7. Validity period
Store credit is valid for 90 days from when it becomes usable, up to and including the expiration date. The expiration date can be seen on your customer account at www.mori.is.
We will send you a reminder email before store credit expires. Unused store credit expires after the expiration date.
8. Returns and refunds
If a product is returned, the store credit that was accumulated from it is canceled, proportionally based on what is refunded. This applies whenever the return takes place, even long after the store credit became usable — for example, when a defect is discovered.
If you have already used the store credit and the balance is not sufficient for the reversal, the difference falls on Móri. It is neither deducted from the refund nor debited from store credit you earn later.
Reversal never affects store credit that Móri has deposited due to product returns. Only store credit that was accumulated through purchases is withdrawn, even if the account balance allows more.
A product that has been refunded never earns store credit, even if you join the rewards club afterwards.
9. Nature of store credit
Store credit is not transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and does not bear interest. It is tied to the customer account on which it was accumulated and cannot be transferred between accounts.
10. Abuse
Móri is entitled to cancel store credit and close access to the club if store credit is obtained fraudulently.
11. Changes to the club
Móri is entitled to change these terms, change the accumulation rate and rules, and to cease operation of the club without notice and without notification to members.
12. Technical problems and corrections
If a technical failure, system error, or other mistake occurs that causes store credit to be calculated, registered, or used incorrectly, Móri is entitled to correct the customer's store credit balance in accordance with correct information about their transactions. This applies both when too much or too little store credit has been granted or deducted.
The customer will be informed if a significant correction is made to their store credit balance. If store credit is reduced, Móri shall, as far as possible, be able to demonstrate the reason for the correction.
Temporary failure or unavailability of the club does not entitle you to compensation or additional store credit. However, legitimately earned store credit is not lost due to technical problems and shall be corrected when sufficient information about the transactions is available.
The customer shall notify Móri without undue delay if they believe their store credit balance is incorrect and provide a receipt or other information about the transactions if requested.
13. Personal information
The handling of personal information is governed by Móri's privacy policy. It lists which service providers are involved in operating the club and how long information is retained.
Inquiries about personal information may be sent to verslun@mori.is.
14. Disputes
These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Cases arising from them may be brought before the District Court of Reykjavík.
